Townsville CityLibraries staff highlight Michael’s work
The follow points made in this video are a direct result of my work with Townsville CityLibraries:
- The well used 24/7 studios at Aitkenvale
- Two new 24/7 studios and lab designed for the new Riverway library
- Infrastructure and systems to enable staff, community, and partners to produce award-winning podcast(s)
- Infrastructure and systems to supercharge agile online offerings during COVID19
- Infrastructure and systems to enable Bluey production.
I am most proud of leading and delivering Queensland’s first 24hr self-serve co-designed open lab (digital studios and fabrication makerspaces) in a public library. Hopefully, in the near future, this type of resource will be available in towns and cities all across regional Australia.
